The potential client--who knew in advance he was meeting with me and not my boss--walks into our office, first asks if I "sublet" from my boss, and then asks why my name on the front doorplate was "bigger" than my boss's name.
(I felt like telling him, "Because my name has more letters than my boss, dumbass.")
He then proceeds to tell me that "You know, this is a mutual interview and I'm also interviewing you." (Really?) He then goes on to tell me that his case is "more important than the average cases you get." (Red flag right there!) Finally, when I asked him if he filled out the standard questionnaire we provide to all our potential clients, he simply says "You know, this just isn't going to work" and walks right out the door.
Whatever. I just imagine if we had done business with this dumb shit he would have driven me half-crazy, and no amount of money is worth that.
Now, if you excuse me, I have to check the size of my name on the doorplate...
:grr:
