I've been running into this online ad a lot lately

Several of them, actually, all of the same style. Out of nowhere, my computer tells me "Congratulations! You've just won a free iPod Nano," or something similar.

Thing is, no matter what the volume setting on my monitor, the ad comes through like a guy's standing on my desk shouting through a megaphone.


I hate that! And, I suspect, I didn't even really win a Nano, free or otherwise...
