I used to have two - Tigger and Sitka.

1. Absolutely. I love my Sammies

I have a male and a female. Both are rescues through Samoyed rescue (I'm something of an advocate for breed rescue organizations), and both are 11 years old. They are my heart, and even the worst day washes away when they greet me at the door with their smiling faces.

Love the muddy face. She looks so proud of herself! If you've had sammies, you'll be able to relate to the fact that my house is covered in fur right now, as they're blowing their summer coats. It floats in the air, like dandelion fluff.
