How old was your child when you let them sleep with a pillow?
My daughter is 22 mos and will not go to sleep without a pillow, she has also been sleeping in a regular twin size bed since she was 18 mos old, never liked her crib, and we saw a major improvement in her sleeping habits. I usually go in and pull the pillow out from under her head after she falls asleep. It's not recommended for children under the age of 2, to use one due to suffocation. I let her have it at naptime, that way I can see how she sleeps with it, and she definitly prefers to sleep with it, and she seems to sleep more soundly. She hasn't slept through the night on a consistant basis since she was 6 mos. old, and I'm thinking she may if I let her keep the pillow overnight.
