1. What friends?
Edited on Sat Aug-09-03 12:45 AM by aquaman
I guess that answers your question. I truly have only two close friends because the rest are still acting like they are on bad drugs.

2. Oh yeah I hear ya!
I love my friends but they are divided into two groups.

One group regards me as their ROCK for anything that goes wrong in their life. It just kinda happens that they all have something going wrong right about now.

The other is the person closest to me who always seems to ditch out when I have shit going on ( as I do lately) even though when HIS shit hits the fan I am usually there for him.

I love them..I'll get off it but I TOTALLY could relate to your post.

5. oh I know!
Like tonight, I figured, hey a nice easy evening, drink some beer, and chill. Nice right? All I get are the typical, "Oh I have to work" and "I'll call ya later" Bullshit responses. Or the people who say, "yeah" and don't show.....Me, I make it a point to ALWAYS be somewhere when I say I will, even if I don't want to go. That's why I get bitter.

8. I could do with out a lot of them
But there is a select group, that I have know since age 4 that I will never break contact with. But the other thing, is once, I did that with a good friend over something stupid. A year or so passed, we finally got forced into making up by a mutal friend...a month later he died. I promised then that I would never be childish again...but what can you do?

11. I do it on a regular basis...
I have an extremely low tolerance for
boredom, and frankly, most people bore me to tears
within a very short time.

I prefer being alone most of the time.
I like to play the piano, a guitar or throw pots on my wheel.
I find these things far more satisfying than the time I spend
with humans nine times out of ten.
The ONLY people I enjot spending time with these days
are my sixteen year old daughter or an older friend of mine that
is nearly seventy years old.
They are the most interesting, brilliant people I know.
Everyone else has been eliminated.
Oh, I also like to be with horses, cats and dogs.
People?
Don't miss them at all.
