Don't people have other things to talk about? I just think that we spend so much time worrying about how we look and not what we do. I hear and hear it and it makes me very angry!!!!

5. Emily, no one is discussing the fashions of Christ! It's Passions!
Edited on Thu Feb-26-04 01:54 PM by BurtWorm
Passions of Christ! Now this is just abominable behavior for a newsperson, whose life and bread is accuracy. You owe our listeners an apology!

7. I'm mad for it myself.
I just went to Marshall Fields during my lunchbreak and bought myself a Crown of Thorns and some of them droopy lookin' diaper drawers.

The Crown came with press-on stigmata tattoos.

Bitchin'!!

‘Passion’ pendant
proves popular
Pewter nail attached to a
leather strap is selling well

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ” not only has people debating the last hours of Jesus’ life, but also running out to buy such souvenirs as crucifixes, lapel pins and cards tied to the film’s promotion.

The nail pendant costs about $17 and contains scaled-down versions of the nails seen in the film. It was designed by Siemon, himself a Catholic, who said he came up with the idea after seeing a preview of the movie.
“It’s the new symbol of the Christian,” he said. “It’s just a way of identifying and perhaps starting a conversation with someone.”

12. I just got my brand new Christ Crown of Thorns
It's made of 100% rose thorn, and made in Florence. It's soooo chic! It's got a soft leather band, and I'll tell you what, I feel like a king of kings sporting it around. All my friends think it's fabulous!
