The cats have had their first encounter:

I held the door open about 1/2 inch, and Milk came to the door, they went nose to nose and sniffed, pawed, and then I closed the door.

PB was all puffed up after, and now he's monitoring the door. She was clawing at it afterwards, and he was all freaked out. There was no hissing though, during or after, so that's good.

It will be a sloooow introduction. She's all ready to meet him. Him, not so much. He hasn't seen another cat in 14 months.

I think it will take a while though. He's obviously not quite ready for a full on introduction. Hehe, he's adorable. He's keeping a safe distance from the door, but he's monitoring it...in his sleep. Passed out on his front paws. :D

3. When my step mom and her husband got a kitty for their cat it took about 2 weeks

Arlo the elder cat is pretty much a "do not fuck with me, open the door and let me out and i won't kill you cat" and the little one is truly a princess, they thought Arlo might not like her but she wore him down.
