Getting motion sickness by a boat or plane is one thing, but...
..I just felt nauseated by a moving football

in an email

someone sent me.

That's ridiculous.

:-(

1. Maybe vertigo?
I get vertigo from some odd things. Sometimes a movie that has a lot of fast-moving frames will do it. Or if I'm looking at something waiting for it to move. Often long circular motions (like the mechanical lure at a greyhound track) will do it.

I can totally see where a moving football in an email would give me vertigo, which by the way feels incredibly weird. It's like you're dizzy but also like you're falling forward and it feels like you might either pass out or go into a seizure.

I hate it.

2. It gets me at the least expected times
Amazingly, the Bourne movies didn't bother me. Go figure!

3. They didn't bother me either
But that Dawn of the Dead remake did - at the end when it was flashing quick shots over the credits.

I'm just happy it doesn't happen when I'm driving - though it has happened when I was a passenger. :scared:

4. I have to either drive or sit in the front seat of a car...
..my family believes me, but sometimes other people don't. They think I'm making it up, just to sit up front, until I get sick. :-(

Well, I'm going to log-off for now. Thanks for making me feel like I'm not the only one who gets sick from something on a screen!
