Do you have a name fit for a King (or Queen)?
I know I do, since there have been a few King Richards. One of them was even called the Lionheart.

How about you?

62. I have five names.
My mother couldn't make her mind up and they had to actually drop two of them because they would not fit on the birth certificate. One of the ones they dropped was Robin. I actually like that name.

6. I have the same first name
The boy's name Richard \r(i)-cha-rd\ is pronounced RICH-erd. It is of Old German origin, and its meaning is "powerful leader". Norman name commonly used for the last 900 years except in the 19th century. England's King Richard Coeur de Lion gave the name lasting impressions of kingliness and the exploits of a crusading knight

100. According to the official list another 3 in England/Britain.
William I (the Bastard) was succeeded by William II (Rufus) who built Westminster Hall (the oldest surviving part of the Palace of Westminster).

When there was a religious controversy over James II being a Catholic, William Stadt-Holder of the Netherlands was invited over by a bunch of nobles in a coup d'etat called "the Glorious Revolution) he reigned jointly with his wife he becoming William III and she Mary II.

George IV, the little lamented frustrated architect died without (legitimate) issue his daughter having predeceased him and so the throne passed to his brother William IV. William's two daughters also predeceased him and so the throne jumped to his neice (Queen Victoria), though only the throne of the U.K., the throne of Hanover being governed by Sallic law she wasn't allowed to inherit.

Quite a few elsewhere in the world I think.

first and middle name.

Hasn't seemed to do me much good in my life though. :P

87. Indeed.
Although I would have perished at the hands of an Elizabeth after spending a long time in a Scottish castle.

92. I've never heard of a Queen Anja
(rhymes with Ganja, BTW).

But my middle name is Ruth, so there's a whole old testament book named for me:7

Also, my mom's name was Joan, and Queen Isabela of Spain's daughter was know as Joan the Mad. She became queen of Castille, mother to Charles the 5th, holy roman emperor, and grandmother to Phillip the 2nd, who was ultimately defeated by Elizabeth I of England, after being married to her sister Bloody Mary, his second cousin, etc, etc, etc. Oh, also Joan the Mad was sister to Catherine of Aragon, Henry VIII first wife and mother to Bloody Mary.

But it's all moot, since I'm Anja not Joan. So ignore the previous run-on sentences.

93. yes, an Irish one
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Boru

But the accuracy of this wikipedia page is suspect.

Not mentioned is the fact that after he routed the French at Dunkirk, he proceeded to fight in the Battle of Gettysburg. According to the local historian, he "came up Gettysburg and whooped some damn ass. Wooaw!"

Then, in a totally unforseen move, he forgoed his illustrious military career for a quiet life as an inventor. He spend enormous time and energy trying to invent the first stapler, but failed. He did succeed in creating a good many projectile throwing machines. Most, however, were too dangerous to be used in an actual office. (they were more like nail guns....he lost many dutiful assistants) It turns out it didn't really matter, because offices didn't exist for another 300 years anyway.

95. Middle name is Julianna
that sounds Queenly, don't you think? The brothers are Robert Athelston, James Brandwood and Charles Thomas. Fit for a Prince or a Duke, or a coal miner. Now, pardon me, where did I put that crown?

99. Yes, in real life, I actually do.
It's extremely unique and I've NEVER met another one, my whole life, who has the same name.

It wouldn't be a common Queen's name, mind you, but it's royal nonetheless. Goddess-like, even. :D
