Important technical question. What's the difference between "Pwned" and "Fail"?

1. Yes, you are.

"Pwned" is when someone burns your ass hard "Fail" requires no external forces directly contributing to your dumbassery.

2. I think "fail" is more generic than "pwned."

"Pwned" implies a defeat at the hands of another. Whether that "another" is human, machine, nature, or whatever.

"Fail" is just generically messing up, and can be either by your own devices or at the hands of another.
