I feel like I spend half my life sweeping cobwebs off of my walls.
I'm wondering if I replace the walls (sheetrock, etc) will this improve? I live in an old cape cod that I feel is the dustiest place in the mid atlantic.

Is there any remedy?

1. Cape Cod is a dusty place.
I lived there for seven years and it was impossible to keep up.

Do what I do with cobwebs...leave them there. Before long you'll have the perfect Munster family home, like me. :)

2. I had lots of cobwebs and spiders in my apartment in Montreal. I ordered
a "bug vacuume" from Hedonics. I could vacuume up any spiders I saw because it added another foot to my reach. Then I'd put the cap on the tube. And then set the spiders free outdoors. The number of cobwebs I was dealing with went way down. And I didn't have to kill anything.

it's almost like some living thinking entity is BUILDING those things and PUTTING them there

oh wait a minute...

seriously, i don't know what to say except keep sweeping, i prefer not to use insecticides because of my pets so the battle with spiders sneaking cobwebs around the place is pretty much ongoing

sheetrock does not deter the determined spinner of webs

7. Spiders, webs, & dust, oh my!!!
I have rough brick walls in one area of my home that collect spider webs, dust and even some pet hair. A vacuum with a hose and brush attachment will get the worst of it.

Spiders 'taste' through their feet. Citrus oils will repel them. You can create a barrier by wiping all window sills, baseboards, and door frames with Lemon Pledge. To discourage spiders from spinning new webs try a citrus cleaner diluted 1 oz cleaner to 1 quart water or 5-10 drops of citronella oil in 1 quart of water and sponge it on the walls.

Rinse, lather, & repeat as necessary. Good Luck!

:hi:
