A memorial note, in advance, for the two squirrels that will be dead soon.

I say this after watching their reaction to the Siberian Huskies (mine) that moved into the yard.

Clearly, these squirrels are used to having the run of the place. It will not last. Both dogs are carefully biding their time, watching, and waiting for a single, fatal mistake...

It is nature taking its course. Prey instinct is powerful with these pups. Last house, final score, huskies 4, skunks 0.

So say a prayer for the squirrels. Remember them. But do not expect them to survive through the fall.
