So, I walked into the Men's Room today.....

By accident.

Had to go to the store today to get a prescription filled.

After I dropped it off, I needed to use the restroom.

I had the door open and was halfway in when a female customer told me I was walking into the men's room.

OMG! I was!

I probably turned 6 shades of red, backed out, and went into the correct room.

The customer told me that during the remodel of the store, they SWITCHED THE MEN'S AND WOMEN'S ROOMS AROUND!!

So, I didn't feel totally stoopud, but shoot, was I embarrassed!

Good thing there were no men in the vicinity!

I used to have to clean the men's room at work. You would not even believe how many men would walk into the bathroom (with the "closed for cleaning" sign on the door) and walk over to the urinal, whip it out and tell me that they didn't care that I was in there cleaning. For the record, I was a 19 year old girl at the time and I DID care. Even if I wanted to see it I wouldn't want to watch it doing that, I'm just sayin'.

....one time, in Texas in the '70's, I was at a concert (Willie Nelson and others) the women's room had a line to it a zillion miles long. So, me and some other women decided to visit the men's room. Initially the guys were embarrassed, but we said, not to worry, and everything was fine.

15. I did it in a very courteous fashion

I would put my head down using my hands like blinders and make a bee-line for s stall - but yes, there's always the risk of an anal guy. It just irked me to stand in line in pain when the men's room was pretty much empty. I wonder if they ever did that potty-parity thing (2 women's rooms for every one men's room). For the record it would not bother me for a man to do the same thing in the ladies room given the same circumstances.

UC Berkeley - Dwinelle Hall - I had to use the bathroom (sit-down, as it were). I noticed a guy on the public phone in front of the door that said "men".

I was in a stall (door closed) when someone came in with tiny footsteps, like high heels. I was fortunate to be able to exit with no others in the bathroom and saw that the person on the phone had been blocking the "Wo" on the bathroom door sign.

A narrow escape for me.

at our symphony hall and while releaving myself during intermission two women barged into the mens room to use our facilities. i am surprised i was able to finish. they didn't seemed embarrased in the least bit.

Except I wasn't as lucky as you to have someone tell me before I got all the way in there. Yup, opened the door, walked toward a booth (thinking to myself - damn, it stinks in here), got in the booth, sat down, and suddenly, I hear something that doesn't sound familiar. I looked down, and saw a man's shoe and heard him using the urinal. I tried to pick my fee up so he couldn't see me. I could have died. I waited until he left, and then got out of there. Oh, and this was at an off site company meeting. It was probably a co-worker or a boss that was using the urinal. Funny looking back, but not funny at the time.

I had to use the women's room at the school library last night. The cleaning crew was right in the middle of working on the men's room. I offered to wait, but they just said "Go ahead."

32. I saw something like that happen, only the other way around.

I was in the ladies' room at work, standing at the sink washing my hands, and just as I turned to get a paper towel a man walked in -- and he sort of shrieked, "Aaagh! I'm sorry!" and backed out in a huge hurry, apologizing all over the place and babbling about how the bathrooms in the other wing have the men's room on the right side and the women's on the left and these were just the opposite. It wasn't like he caught me on the throne or anything, but still, he was SO flustered.

I walked in by accident and it smelled so bad that I just went, "ewwwwwww" and I heard a voice say, "this is the MEN'S room!"

My boyfriend told me that a lot of them smell bad.
