I'm back from Cedar Point!
Boy am I tired--and a little sunburnt!

First of all, CP is a HUGE place! Lots of walking! I got blisters on my feet even though I was wearing "comfortable" walking shoes. Also, all that standing in line to get on some rides made my back and ankles really sore!

It took me 1 1/2 hours to get on Millenium Force, but it was well worth the wait. The view at the top of the big hill is spectacular, and the 93 mph rush down is incredible. Just HAD to get a t-shirt afterwards!

It was boiling hot on Monday afternoon, so I went to Soak City to try the water slides. I'll have to avoid the Zoom Flume next time because standing in line under dripping cold war on stairs so high in the air was tough!

My next "big adventure" is near Cincinnati in October: The Buckeye Adult Open skating competition! ;)

1. Did you do the Top Thrill Dragster??
I want to go to Cedar Point so bad. I'm a total roller coaster fanatic and Cedar Point is like the mecca of roller coasters. I'm trying to plan a trip there next year.

2. I had a 1 1/2 hour wait for THAT one, too, because....
When I got through the turnstile, the ride broke down and it took them about 20 minutes to fix. But instead of giving up and turning away, I waited and it was worth it. I opened my eyes at the top of the loop, and the (brief) view was amazing! :D
