I'm being sucked into their ads. Am I a sheeple?

1. The words "use it on their cat" give me the willies.
Every time I try to use anything on a cat I'm usually sorry, and bleeding slightly. Even if I don't tutch the but.

I'm not familiar with the product in question, though.

2. It supposedly shaves the claw rather than clip it so that it ends up with a rounded
tip instead of a flat one.

3. I cut my cat's nails and my mother's dachshund's nails
Your post might be kidding, but I was facinated.

The video on their website showed a dachshund (who looks just like my mother's Frankie) jumping and biting, like Frankie does when I've tried to clip his nails. Plus, I do have trouble with dog's black nails, and not being able to see the quick, so now Frankie goes to the groomer.

I also cut my cat's nails every week, and she's okay with it (you can see the quick, so she never bleeds) but I worry about the splitting caused by the clippers.

$29 is only 3 visits to the groomer (without gas) - I am really tempted to buy this for my mom's dog, bring it over when I visit, and save her on visits to the groomers....

We never had to clip the dog's nails when we were kids and they got exercise with us - a much better solution - but my parents are in their 80's and so their dog doesn't get outside as much now.

4. You bring up a good point about exercise
My cat never goes out, so his claws are like ninja weapons. I'm thinking $29 is a hell of a lot cheaper than giving my landlady my $500deposit for holes in her 40 year old sofas that a filled with mold.
