Holy mother of Jebus, what a week it's been
Docs keeping me super busy, work, take care of kiddo, sleep, work.... rinse, lather, repeat. Oh, and my computer finally died and I couldn't DU, other than at work but since I was so fucking busy... you get the picture. Finally got that up and running Wednesday night, but I was too damn tired to even do anything but go to bed, so the DU catch-up had to wait. :(

Then, last night, I finally make it home with the kiddo, ready to relax for a bit before putting her to bed and I get a call from my 19-year-old... sobbing, in hysterics, telling me she just got home and the house had been broken into and all of the computers are gone.

I calm her down, tell her to call the cops and I'll try to get up there as soon as I can. Then everything REALLY gets crazy.

She calls me back and says I wasn't robbed after all... the cops served a search warrant on Joe... her roommate/brother and, obviously, my son. After all is said and done, at the end of the night, I'm under the impression that it's because he had Limewire on his computer and, because her stuff was in the house too, they confiscated it as well. Hell, they took ANYTHING computer related... monitors, keyboards, the modem and router.... EVERYTHING.

So, all of this is pretty bad stuff, right? Wait, there's more!!

Today, I find out that it has nothing to do with Limewire and, while my daughter will get her stuff back, my son is in some deep, deep, deep shit.... I mean, drowning in it. Seems that the reason they got the search warrant was because my darling son was, to put it nicely, downloading illegal IMAGES on the internet. And guess what? ADULT pornography ain't illegal to download last time I checked. All computers are now at the state police crime lab being checked out but, again, my daughter isn't involved and, once her computer comes up clean, she'll get it back. Who the fuck knows what they're going to find on his computer, but I have this sinking feeling that it isn't going to be very nice stuff.

My head hurts and I'm going to bed, but I just had to vent and get this off my chest. I'm just shocked and kinda numb and wondering what the fuck is going on that MY SON gets busted for such a thing

1. No words...
Just know that I'm thinking of you, and sometimes kids do really stupid things despite the best of upbringings. Try to get some sleep.
