Can someone answer a Netflix question for me PLEASE?
I have heard conflicting answers so I figured teh Lounge would be more informed ;)

So, we are thinking of getting Netflix, and someone I know said that they have several "queues" - that is he has one, and his wife and kids each have one. So if a movie from the kids queue is returned, the next one comes from that one.

Another person told me it is just one big queue and you have manipulate it to replace the kids movie, etc.

Anyone know the real deal?

Thanks

1. I would say go out to their website and look at the different membership options
I have the $16.99 one that allows you to have 3 movies at a time in your possession. Send one back, next one in the queue pops up.

I did not even investigate for multiple queues since I am the only one manageing the queue.

So if they have a slightly more expensive monthly plan that lets you have 2 or 3 per person that may be where the multiple queues come in, and therefore a film from queue 'A' would generate a film from that queue when it is returned.

or something like that.

by the way NETFLIX totally totally ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. You can have multiple queues on the regular plans.
You can allocate how many DVDs come from each one.

5. Just caught a brief report on Channel 13, tonight, saying that Netflix was experiencing "technical
problems," saying that their deliveries have been delayed, and they don't know when it will be "fixed." Thought it was a coincidence, given your thread...:hi:

7. they had briefly discontinued the multiple queues
I think it only lasted a week or two and they got so many complaints that the reinitiated it pretty quickly.
