If DUBYA is " THE WORST DRUNK PRESIDENT !!!!EVER!!!!"
Does that imply that there have been other presidents that were also drunks, but did a better job?

3. it also begs the question... is it just the drunken-ness that makes him the
worst president ever?

7. Nope, it's the awful neo-conservative ideology and the cabinet he's built based on that.
The drunkenness doesn't help though, I'm sure. :P

5. Apparently, Nixon used to drink a lot while President.
And, it pains me to say it, but he did a far better job as President than Bush.

9. People sometimes mention US Grant, only he was a teetotaller in the White House
However Andrew Johnson and Franklin Pierce both had severe problems with compulsive drinking. Harding partied a whole lot, during Prohibition no less. But he seems to have been able to put down the bottle & probably wasn't an alcoholic.

None of them did very well by the people while in office.
