My phone-to-shoulder interface is fucked.

It's virtually impossible to "cradle" a cordless phone or cell phone between your ear and shoulder so that you can write or type something.

I just finished a 10 minute phone call on my cordless phone where I needed to edit a spreadsheet in real time with what the other party was telling me. I ended up doing all the keyboard stuff with one hand so I wouldn't drop the phone.

Plantronics stuff sucks, I think. I had a few of their headsets and IMO they go for design over practicality.

You don't want to put the cell or the cordless close to your head anyway because they both emit radiation.

Throughout the whole call we were always "almost done". Eventually it reached a point where I was too heavily invested in the goofy technique I invented to change my process.
