5. Friday is Stupid Day on Teh Internets.

I get the craziest trouble tickets, starting in the late morning. these are the customers that have fiddled with a problem all week before opening a ticket, then are unable to communicate the trouble symptoms coherently, or to describe their troubleshooting steps so far. Added to the mix is a mysterious ailment infecting my company, wherein our analysts (anticipating a weekend) opening our tickets become unable to type. Every ticket is an adventure.

Or is this just common to jobs that touch the 'net? Don calls it 'Freaky Friday'. Followed of course by 'Manic Monday', when all the problems that have brewed over the weekend come burbling down the lines.

...all over the globe. All sorts of circuits go down and don't come back up, whether work gets completed successfully or not.
