My parents got married on May 3, 1945. They were both active duty Marines at the time.

but my parents were married on 8/8/58. Their 50th wedding anniversary is on Friday. :)

Here i am in 1996, with my daughter, my mom, brand new stepdad, and my grandmother. This was taken at their wedding.
Except for my daughter (who's now almost 20), nobody look much different now.

My mother (sitting, unhappily, behind us on our wedding day). She and my father were married for just about 40 years, and then divorced about 2 and a half years ago. I knew, at 5, that they were a mess.
