5. Ewwww.
Yeah, I had to do that for a while when I first moved here. I moved up here to drive my grandpa to and from dialysis 3 days a week, and when he first got out of the hospital the only timeslot they had open at the dialysis center was at 5 something in the morning. And it's a half hour drive away... in good conditions. He got out of the hospital in the middle of winter. The roads weren't plowed yet by the time we had to drive there. So we had to leave here at least an hour early. And that's taking into consideration the time it takes to get an elderly mobility impaired man into and out of the car.

Thankfully they found him an afternoon slot eventually.

What's your social security number and address? Oh yeah, and your mothers maiden name, your first dog, your favorite song and/or band? You know, just the usual stuff....

7. hahahaha!
SSN#: 006-06-0006

Address: PO Box 49

You know? I have no idea. It's Arabic and I can't read it.

I've never had a dog...I'm phobic after an attack as a small child. Bring around the smallest toy poodle and you can't get me out of the nearest locked room.

Currently, It's Why Do You Let Me Stay Here by She & Him.

What's funny is that even with that info and the correct SSN you couldn't get into my bank account.

9. In the profile...
Edited on Thu Jul-31-08 11:02 PM by Chan790
if you click the thing that looks like a sheet of loose-leaf paper in a manila envelope, you get the profile of the poster. It's in there.

edit: :dunce: It's the one that looks like a file-card. That makes more sense, huh?

6. It sounds like you're very goal-oriented.
:D

What great thing will be accomplished when you hit 4000 posts?

Oh wait, I can guess your answer: "Going to bed."

OK, here's another question....and this one is kind of deep:

Are you a human be-ing, or a human do-ing?

In other words, make sure you take time to just BE and not DO STUFF all the time.

:D

Give us some of the titles of your works. Do any of your stories involve jello?

11. Okay...
The working title of my unfinished novel is A Year of Septembers. It's about the horrible things (most involving sex and massive amounts of drugs...also a few deaths) which occurred within my circle of friends senior year of college after we were all live witnesses to a national tragedy. It's about people not being able to move on and grasping for anything to make the hurt go away at-least temporarily. Things don't end well for anybody. Yes, it's filthy. It doesn't sound like it would be, but it is.

All my stories are animal-cruelty free. Jello is made from cow bones and horse hooves.

12. You're sick.
Porn without jello is like a Led Zepplin concert without jello.

I hope to someday write the great American erotic novel. It will probably be set in the women-in-prison genre. The protagonist's nickname will be Jello.

13. Remember:
"A day without bondage is like a day without sunshine."

You should totally make it a space prison. That way you get the porn audience and the sci-fi audience.

Country or City?

Do you like crossword puzzles?

What do you think of Shakespeare?

21. 28.
City...I don't drive and I summered on a dairy farm. (Sheep and goats.) That'd make a city-dweller out of anybody.

Crossword puzzles are fun...it's like Trivial Pursuit but you can cheat because you know the fourth letter is an "E".

Not a huge fan...He was quippy but had a bad habit of killing off the only interesting character in his play early. (Mercutio is the only reason to watch Romeo and Juliet.)

Edited on Fri Aug-01-08 04:57 PM by Chan790
born in Plainville, moved to Bristol, grew up in Burlington, moved to Hartford during HS. That's the first 18 years of life.

Moved to DC/MD/VA for college, stayed there for about 3 years post-graduation. Moved to Hartford for 1 year, then Philly, briefly NYC, back to DC.

Moved to Burlington to take care of a family issue and been here ever since (2 1/2 years) I'm torn between moving back to NYC or DC (those feel like home...CT never has.) and staying in CT and moving to New Haven (cheaper and still would allow me to spend much of my time in larger cities. Also Yale women are sexy. It's the smarts.)

Edit: 5 to go!

28. Come to New Haven
that's where I work and play.

I live in a suburb a bit north of New Haven.

New Haven is a cool city, and like you said, close to NYC, Boston, Providence, the Cape and only a few hours from Philly

:) :hi:
