53. You know what I like? I like staying awake behind the wheel when I have a late drive home.

Trying to avoid being a menace on the road, and all. And Rockstar is the only energy drink I've found that:

1. Keeps me awake and driving safely but
2. doesn't give me the shakes and make my heart race and
3. is widely available at all hours and
4. is a flavor I can stand to drink.

So is it okay with you if I have one now and then?

Jesus.

Maybe I'm more OCD than thought (not at all) but when I'm drinking diet soda, I have to have 2 cans with 3 ice cubes in my giant liter glass from K-Mart (Wal*Mart sells them too)

I don't wish to try explain it.

76. Hah! Awesome avi!

Okay, okay. My beverage weirdness.

When I was a kid I would occasionally have dinner at my friend Susan's house. Susan was one in a large brood of boisterous/obnoxious kids, like ten of them, and all relatively close in age. At their dinner table I learned very quickly to keep one eye on my glass of milk AT ALL TIMES. Because the unfortunate young soul who left the table for any reason, or whose attention was diverted by another child operative would often reach the bottom of his or her glass of milk to find that something utterly disgusting, like a half-chewed piece of meat or sprig of cheesy broccoli had been covertly placed in the milk. That, or one of the kids would take the opportunity to quaff a swig of the victim's milk, swish it around in his or her mouth, spit it back into the glass and then return the glass to its place. All of the other kids found these practical jokes hilarious, but I was mortified and found it absolutely revolting.

To this day I am ridiculously possessive of my drinks. I will not leave my drink unattended, not even for a moment, not even with family, friends or a SO. I will not share my drink, with anyone, for any reason. I am not at all that way about food - I will share anything anyone wants to taste on my plate, you can even have a lick from my ice cream cone ... but you can NOT have a sip of my drink. Ever ever ever.

That, and I will often have several drinks going at once: Coffee, hot tea, cold tea, water, soda, fruit juice, vegetable juice, beer, any combination of those. And then I have to keep an eye on ALL of them, lol.

Neurotoxins!

Ask yourself how much the prospect of daily or weekly injections of interferon shots appeal to you, because this shit causes MS and a host of other auto immune diseases and other crap.

I should know, because I have it, and I consumed so much Equal in the 80s and 90s it would make your head spin.

But why would you want to continue putting that crap in your body if there is the slightest possibility that it is doing serious damage?

Just because you don't have it now doesn't mean things won't change. I hope they won't for you, but if Rumsfeld's finger was in the approval process, I don't trust the shit at all now that I know what I know about it.

58. I think Trader Joe's carries the whole line. I've been buying it at Vons (Safeway).
The Vons chain of grocery stores in California is owned by Safeway Corp. now. Hansen's web site says, "Hansen’s Natural Sodas can be found in the premium soda section of many grocery stores and the natural foods section of other grocery stores, as well as specialty stores, club stores and natural food stores throughout the U.S." but they don't specify which chains specifically carry their brand.

74. Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi and Cherry Vanilla Diet Dr. Pepper.
Besides Diet Rite (which has no caffeine, so I hardly drink it), those are really the only two I like. I guess the cherry kind of cancels out the nasty whangy taste of diet drinks.

79. Diet Mountain Dew is Shit.
Pepsi has yet to figure out how to make a Diet Drink.
Diet A&W is my favorite. Diet Coke with Lime runs a close second.
Diet Sunkist is EXCELLENT too.
