We did!
It was hot, though... So we strolled the gardens before noon, and then vanished into those wonderful air conditioned buildings after a nice lunch... Thanks, sweetie...  |

We did have a great time!
As is normal, we felt like old friends from the start! I'm sure GM will be pleased at your comments, sweetie! Thanks for coming by... BTW, I am going to the meetup in NYC...I'll be there the weekend of August 9/10... Any chance you could be there too? |

I'm happy to see that your indoor shots turned out as well as they did. You have a very steady hand, my friend!
The pond photo turned out particularly well and I just love the grape vine framed backside of Dionysus. Surrounded by such beauty, it becomes a challenge not to take great photos. After parting ways, although a bit withered, we managed to hoof it through the Japanese Garden over to the new Chinese Garden. It was absolutely spectacular! You MUST go for another visit with your camera, but in the early spring when it's not so damn hot! Thanks for making the trip up to join us. We all enjoyed the meetup! |

Hey, it's about time you showed up, sweetie!
I was thinking about calling you to let you know the thread was going... I was soooooooooo tired yesterday, I wasn't sure I was going to do it, but dinner gave me a second wind! Thanks for your compliments too... The indoor pics are blurry, alas... The ones I posted aren't too bad. Blue Boy was unacceptably blurry, so he got left out! I'm sure the Chinese and Japanese gardens were amazing...Glad you were able to see them... My husband was really glad he'd come along and we both had the BEST time! |
