What's the highest amount of money you've found on the street?

Mr. DTBK picked up a $10 at Love Field once. As for me, I think a quarter is the most I've ever found. Lucky I am not. You?

1. I found $10 a few years ago while walking my dog.

2. Had a $100 bill blow across the street in front of me once

Picked it up, looked around, wasn't anyone acting like they lost it. Paid my rent and got me a bag of pot with it. This was back in 1974.

Only time I was ever that lucky. I usually find pennies... and I pick them up for good luck!

4. $20 around 40 years ago.

Found it in our front yard. Neighbor was a cop, so he told us to wait and see if anyone claimed it. In those days we had milk delivery, insurance men who came to the house to collect premiums, bread delivery, coffee delivery etc. I think my parents hung onto it for a couple months and asked our delivery men and then they gave it back to me.

I bought a pair of white go-go boots and my first watch.

DH found a $5 laying in a park and I found a $5 on the ground at a fair..both within the last couple years.

5. Better than money

I found an all-access pass for the final night of the 1996 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. I already had guest credentials, but this pass was for every portion of the arena, including the podium.

once found $60 in a pair of jeans at a garage sale. My grandmother is a finder, she's found thousands of dollars over the years and a few engagement rings to boot.

Almost passed it up, the two $20 bills were very muddy.

Something made me go back for a second look.

9. 20 bucks stuck in a bush.

I got sent home from work early because business was slow. I was muttering under my breath about losing a couple bucks worth of hours when I walked outside and saw the 20 dollar bill stick in a bush right outside the store.

I also like when I find money in my pants or coats or sweatshirts. I do that a lot. Sometimes I leave a $10 or $20 there on purpose and when I go and use that article of clothing again--SURPRISE!

and when nobody claimed it, they gave it back to me. It felt like a million dollars to me.

lucky i am, i've had quite the gift for finding money on the street over the years

small amts of money used to be a routine thing for me to find but finding $100 or more sticks in the mind and it has happened on a few occasions over the years

17. $500 on a run

an out and back (2 miles) I saw an envelope and had to stop on the way back. All I saw was green and I tucked it into my shorts and took for home

ON EDIt- I found a bag of weed on a New Years Day heading out to an ATM. A cop pulled up right after I picked it up...he asked ME directions. I didn't give him the pot, I donated it to charity of course.

18. $60, found in the lint-trap of my building's dryer.

That was real lucky, and by far the most money I've ever found.
