Photoshoppers: Post your art! *pic heavy*
And maybe some of your favorite tools and techniques.

I love working with colors:

I also like the clone stamp tool:

my wife's beautiful eyes.

My favorite these days is the liquify tool

What tools do you use??

5. ...
Edited on Wed Jul-23-08 01:37 PM by Ysabel
from 2004 (signed "dusa" which is an id of mine elsewhere) i called it "brown laciis" at the time (which was also a typo) but anyway i'd really rather call it "five sisters"...

from around 2003 (i think) i called it "swiffle" at the time (off the top of my head / many of my files have odd titles / i often have a hard time locating files later on) however a friend suggested that i call it "mother goddess" (i can see what she meant and i like that name for it) it was part of a much much larger picture that i'd painted (probably a 100 times larger) i took a tiny part of the original picture and magnified it a bit i used the selection tool to make the shape look like a rock my intent was for it to be something like a stone talisman...

7. How did you start these pieces? Photos? Did you freehand them with a photo tool or something?
I understand about naming files. I do multi track audio stuff as well as photoshops and videos, so I learned hard and fast that I had to give relevant names and keep my files organized.

8. i have a drawing pad (wacom)...
Edited on Wed Jul-23-08 02:36 PM by Ysabel
which i use to do freehand in photoshop using the felt tip pen tool (also sometimes i use distort / polar coordinates and sometimes also a little bit of layering)...

- that's how i did these two...

p.s. yeah i know i keep telling myself to do that (concerning names of files)... :P

ooops - edtiting to add: i also used one of the lighting lens tools in the "five sisters" one ("five lights down" i think it's called)...

10. Awesome. I am more into distorting reality right now, but I dig the freehand stuff.
Have you tried Adobe Illustrator?

16. There are great tutorials online and stuff.
It is definitely more suited to hand artists than PS is, but I don't really use it.

I took a graphic design class at the Uni I work for and we spent half a semester in PS and half in Illus. Very cool.

19. Well, there is a lot of undestroyed property in your pic.
Also, depending on your sensitivity (9/11 and all), you may consider PSing some little people jumping out of the little windows.
