So this is it; I'm leaving

I'm going for a night sail in Boston Harbor, taking off from the Charlestown Shipyard.

I'll try to take pictures of the USS Constitution....

...that is, if the Coast Guard doesn't blow me out of the water for being a terraist.

and I didn't get close to the Constitution (all I saw was the mast)

But here is a picture of another sailing ship in the harbor, seen from our little sailboat,

I need to figure out how to take better pictures...

Oh well, the trip was cut short by a lightning storm coming through, so we called in early and went to dinner at the Navy Yard Bistro!

Seared scallops on risotto, with a stuffed artichoke garnish.

10. I had an officer on the Deck

My skipper is in the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Still, we had to wait until the Hammerhead made it to port before we could dock.
