Oh, no. One of my local Starbucks is on "to be closed" list.
Of course, I never quite understood why they opened it anyway. There is a Starbucks across the parking lot from this one (and it ain't exactly a big parking lot).

1. They're probably relocating to inside that other Starbucks.

2. Damn shame, that...
...What's the world coming to when one parking lot can't support two Starbucks at either end? I was hoping they'd start building new Starbucks on top of existing Starbucks. I was dreaming that the six Starbucks within walking distance of my front door would soon become six HUNDRED. Because we can't have enough Starbucks.

3. 6 are closing in my area!
x( I hope none are close to me. I have given up my Starbucks while pregnant. But I didn't mean to give it for any longer.

4. 2 are being closed here
and are they closing the one about 200 FEET from the other one they just opened? No.

They're closing the one downtown and the one across from city hall. :eyes:

5. closing 2 of the 8 nearest my house. The one inside Hulen Mall and the new
one that just opened on Mc Cart between Westcreek and Altamesa.

We still have the one on Trail Lake @ Interstate 20 and the one on South Hulen @ Granbury and the one inside the Target and the one inside the Albertson's and I believe there is one in that strip as well. And the one on Bryant Irvin and the one in Tanglewood. I think that is all of them. Not to mention the one in the Barnes & Noble which actually makes 9. NINE within 10 minutes of my house. Ten if you count the one farther up Hulen @ Central Market.

That one of course is probably the reason the Camp Bowie one is closing.

6. Ours barely opened before they announced the closing.
Seems a shame, although I never got on the Starbucks bandwagon myself...
