Reason #451 why I love XKCD


I instantly had flashbacks to when I had to do book or text "interpretations" in school. There was a part of my brain that kept saying "THIS IS ALL BULLSHIT" - contrary to the "erudite wisdom" of the teachers. Now I feel vindicated.

1. I had an english teacher once who took that kind of over-anylization to an extreme.
Drove me ()*&%ing nuts. So to mock her, when we did a section on poetry, I wrote about monkeys.

She thought my poems were deep and esoteric.
