4. UT03
That game rocks with sniper rifles only and low grav arenas, there is no other game out there even yet matching it's gameplay and depth of physical requirements. You have to be quick and smart, and there's plenty of room for creativity.

5. It was Quake2, fiercely
Quake3 for awhile, but after years and years of learning how people played in Quake2, in Q3 everyone called me a bot for knowing where they were headed and booted me.

Q3A was good, but only played the demo, again with the bot accusations.

UT always felt too gimmicky, there were no brutal knockdown dragout fights to the death in that series.

Then SOF2 came out, played that for a bit.

Now it's nothing *sigh*

6. Everquest, everquest, EVERFREAKINGQUEST!!!
I have a 58 bard on the Bristlebane server, and my wife also has a 50 bard on the same account and server. Our biggest planned expenditure at this point is a second computer, second Everquest account and a router so that we can play together rather than fighting over who gets to do what, when. A huge time sink, yes, but I guarantee you I could spend a lot more than $13 a month on my other interests if I had the time and disposable income.
