Castle Teck, near Stuttgart *pic heavy*
I visited a friend of mine this weekend. She lives near Stuttgart, which is in South Germany. Yesterday we went to the Castle Teck. Here are some pics of it.
I don't really have a pic of the castle, since I took the pics while on the castle.

Enjoying a cold beer

Me and my friend

And me alone again

I like castles and historical stuff. Worked at Monticello and University of Virginia before becoming disabled. Of course they are 'new' old stuff compared to most castles.

7. You would have had plenty of chances here ...
it's finally cooling down to reasonable temps these days. You would think we had our summer early and now are in late spring.

8. Hey you get rain
you need it.

We had the weather for that shirt in between. But I can't wear it to skirts (looks funny) and jeans are just too hot in the hot weather.

it's all in the mountains. But we had some yesterday. Might have to have the lawn re-seeded, but I've pretty much accepted it.

Yep, I can see your point. It's not a skirt type of top. I've seen lots of anti-capris comments here, but they are really a lot more comfortable than jeans in the summer, especially if you don't want to wear shorts.

10. Very nice, I like the nook and cranny shots
the sky through the rocks.

Maybe I am "homesick?" TV is enough to depress anyone over here, non-stop: bash Obama, bash Clark, war with Iran, oil prices, food prices, amber alerts. :yoiks: Oh and other important things like bears on the loose in NJ, Amy Winehouse slugging a fan. God, when does my plane leave on Friday?? :banghead:

Hey, you could read www.zeit.de with the German news :)

All the newspapers and online papers are full with the loss last night. Not fun to read.

Sounds like you need to go out and go to the museums in Philly and leave the TV turned off except for Olberman.

Headed for a cool shower, and then getting out of here. Checking out a mountain bike, with proper shoes today, and maybe I will go to the Borders. Good idea. :)

Unfortunately Meghan had corrections AGAIN on her thesis, so I am not sure if she can go play with me?

33. Germany Is Beautiful !!!!
great pics

yanno I never thought it before, but looking at that area of Germany, it is very much like Arkansas

the hills/mountains are very similar in age I think.

I've been in the Rhine river region, Bavaria, and the Munchen parts. I'm pretty sure I've been to Stuttgart. There is a Stuttgart, Arkansas, however it is in the flat, flat, rice growing river delta area in Arkansas.

Thanks for sharing!
