It is weird getting Twin Cities TV ads here in SoCal

I wish we had Menards here. We have Lowes and Home Despot but no Menards.

I could always find someone who knew what they were talking about in Menards. I have better luck at Lowes than Home Despot, but Lowes is not nearly as helpful as Menards.

but I usually go to the locally owned small chain of Ace Hardware stores.

it is nice when I can walk in and know the people in there, and they know me.

8. I go to ACE more than Lowes too

I sometimes have to go to Lowes for the stuff that ACE just does not have.
