Newspaper birth announcements piss me off..........

I mean, are ANY of them written by the D.A.D.?

OOOO, thank you Daddy, for being there, for doing SO much, we LOVE you, etc, etc.... You always know these announcements are written by either Mom or Mom-in-law trying to get on her daughter's good side by including her son-in-law.


Uh, can't Daddy get off his lazy butt and write one thanking Mommy for her contribution? :eyes: Like, Mommy isn't too tired or anything.

Sorry, but this is a pet peeve of mine.

3. My paper doesn't print them.

My community newsletter has them, though, but nothing like you describe. Just date, time, size of baby, things like that.
