Going to see Phil Lesh with Very Special Guest Levon Helms

Levon's band is top notch and he will do the Weight and other Band numbers. In his band is his daughter who is a great band called Ollabelle.

And Phil's band is really crackling. You will freaking Love Jackie Greene. This band is pretty much kind of a rock and roll band rather than a space exploration type thing. Not that they don't go there but not as freakwently as in the past.

I am totally jealous.

10. Different band this time round.......

jackie Greene (who has been compared to a young Bob Dylan more often than not) sings the Jerry songs and others, Larry Campbell (Bob Dylan's band)a multi insturmentalist (guitars and mando) Steve Molitz (Particle) on keyboards, John Molo (Who has been in Phil's band since the onset and is a MONSTER!) and of course Phil Lesh on bass.

This band has allowed Phil to do a lot less singing which for me is good thing. even though he has become better at it, he still isn't great. Jackie can sing and really puts his own spin the tunes. Awesome.
