Day 2 and "there is still no fuc*ing coffee in this building!!"
To quote a cranky coworker. The coffee junkies going beserk with our boil water alert..no coffee to be found anywhere in this large building..except a few of the Starbucks flavored chilled coffees..I heard someone bought one and zapped it in the microwave to get something..Lots of irritable people around here...

2. How can there be no coffee?!?
That must be hell. We have Starbucks in the cafeteria. I also have a little bowl of chocolate-covered espresso beans at my desk. These things are necessary to keep me alive. I would fall in a dispirited heap if I couldn't get coffee. I don't know how you are managing.

3. I actually miss my morning tea
More than anything else...but I don't think it was a coincidence that the meeting I attended yesterday was crankier than normal.

4. And no one brings it in from home?
Wow. I'd much rather haul in my travel mug full of joe than drink the burnt, brown swill that passes for "coffee" at most workplaces. mikey_the_rat

For the cooling systems and the restrooms. We are just not allowed to drink it or use it for food prep.

Day 29: They boiled Johnson's socks and called it coffee. They're not fooling anyone.

"I awoke to discover my socks were missing today. Bastards! Johnson is still dispirited and a riot broke out when somebody discovered that Jones was holding-out on us all with a tea-bag which some flavor could be extracted from by sucking on."

12. Oh no shortage of drinking water...
You can buy bottled water/soda/juice from the cafe downstairs. There are like 1200 people here. I think that would be awfully hard work for someone...:D

just saying. It's all I use to make coffee, in fact. Tap water too much crap in it.

Go to Costco and get a ginormous bag of chocolate covered espresso beans. They get caffeine, you get a raise. WIN-WIN!
