"Bruno" coming to a theater near you, next Summer.
Bwahahaha...Bruno Rules!

Universal sets a date for 'Bruno'
Cohen comedy to open on May 15, 2009
By PAMELA MCCLINTOCK

'Last Call' for Universal, JosephsonSacha Baron Cohen’s “Bruno” is ready for summer heat.
Universal will release the film on May 15, 2009. So far, there are no other R-rated comedies near that date.

Like Borat, the title character of the 2006 box office hit, Bruno is one of a trio of characters created and played by Cohen in TV skein “Da Ali G Show.”

As Bruno, Cohen pretends be a flamboyant fashion and celebrity journalist from Austria who interviews unwitting members of the public who believe Bruno is a real person.

Twentieth Century Fox’s “Borat” was a box office hit, grossing $128.5 million domestically in an early November release.

1. Hell, I thought you meant *this* Bruno:

http://www.baldwinpage.com/bruno.html

I helped to host the author/artist on a cross-country trip, and even got my mug immortalized in a drawing in the back of one of his books.

He has all 7 years of this continuity driven strip online - check it out, it's incredibly good stuff!

Sorry for the hijack - I'll check out the links for your Bruno now.

2. the funniest interview i ever saw Bruno do was with Leon Hall, he's some fashionista
so he and Leon are sitting and doing some fake post awards critique and they cut to a clip of Paris Hilton, Leon Hall says something and then Bruno says, "Listen, we need to redo that, can you say her outfit is worse than 9/11?" and damn if Leon Hall didn't. Of course at the time Leaon Hall had no clue who Bruno was but i thought it was hilarious and it was kind of sad for Leon that he'd just go along with it.

3. I bet Bruno will offend far more people than Borat's naked fat guy wrestling scene ever did.
I cant fucking wait for this. Sascha Cohen is a fucking genius.
