10. Series.
Refusing to abide by the doctor's office instructions to arrive 15 minutes early will probably result in a visit from Agent Mike.

:scared:

Just sayin'!

4. I need to be on your health plan.
Where I go (Kaiser Permanente), 4:00 means 4:45.

8. Sometimes for me too! I am pregnant so I go all of the time.
But people just have babies whenever they want to and my doc seems to have to be there! :P But really, there are times when I get there early and I get in early. They go ahead and get the weight, blood pressure, urine sample, etc. And then it is off to wait some more!

12. I get the same, almost...
...height (every fucking time - as if the same reading 15 times in a row isn't indicative of something), weight (which never goes up or down more then five pounds), blood pressure. No urine sample, but at least that would fill up some of my time as I wait 30-45 more minutes.

By the way, how many times can the goddamned scale say 6'2" before people realize that I'm taller than 6' and shorter than 6'4"?

20. Tell me about it. I've been waiting since October for surgery on my arm.
I've already looked into paying for it out of my own pocket. Even signing my name is starting to become uncomfortable.

21. I know, I had Kaiser
If you have no issues, Kaiser works fine, if you have even a few small issues, trying to get care from them is full time work, and still does not always happen.

22. While I'm bitching, let's not forget the eye exam I have been waiting for since January.
I want contacts, but since I had an eye exam last August I'm supposed to wait for my "annual" exam.

When we start getting summer sun, I'm paying for this one out of my own pocket for sure.

It's sort of like you say: if your car runs fine, the worst mechanic is perfectly adequate. I've been begging my employer for other coverage, but no luck.

Thanks for listening :hi:

5. Right, if he arrives at 4, he won't get in until at least 4:30.
That's the way it is at my doctor's.

This guy takes his sweet time. But, he did GO OFF on the Bush MisAdministration after he "optically waterboarded" me last week.

7. That way you get to wait fifteen minutes longer.
The way I see it, if I have a doctor's appointment at four, I should be seen by oh, four fifteen. These days? I might not get in until a quarter to six. It's like the f'n cable company, but at least with them I get to wait around at home.

15. And then you will wait another 25 minutes.
I once waited 5 fucking hours (with an appointment) for one of those overpaid bloodmonkeys. I would have left but I really needed to see him. No longer my Doc.

Khash.

18. The key wording is "We LIKE to ask...."
You can ask me all you want. I will arrive in time for my appointment. Any earlier is a waste of my time, as the dang doctor usually runs between 20-40 minutes late.
