1. To me,
A hug is a friendly gesture, and a warm embrace is more on the emotional side.

3. I'm pretty generous with a hug.
A warm embrace is for special occasions!:pals:

4. A hug is just a hug
but an embrace implies closeness and caring much more than a hug. Especially if it's a warm embrace.
