3. Sometime in the early 1990s

my parents took a very small cruise (no more than 70 people, including crew) up the west coast of Canada and Alaska. They saw lots of wildlife, both on and offshore. The crew would often be out watching such sightings, too, like the wolf pack they saw at some point :)

What kind of trip are you taking to see the glaciers?

5. Well, the details ain't final, but some sort of cruise/land deal...

...he'll be 90, so the cruise part will be longest, and that's really the only way to see Glacier National Park and all that. I have been to Alaska twice...inland, largely in the Denali area, and it was wonderful. First time I saw a grizzly bear. When I retire, I plan on working there some summer...that's the only way to see it all.

That small cruise sounds great...ours will probably be too big for my tastes, but what the hey.
