It;s not so bad without a TV.
My 22 year old Mitsubushi flat lined a couple of days ago (22 years - numerous moves and bumps, best consumer item I've ever bought) it went kaput.

Thought I'd miss 24/7 CNN and MSNBC, but don't. Remembered I could see Congress, the Administration et al, from the source, *without the spin*, via C-SPAN online. It's refreshing.

Miss Law and Order re-runs though... B-)

1. I got a new tv about a week and half ago, i was excited and since we got i've watched it about
5 times total and that was 5 movies. I have tuned lately, not even a flat screen can hold my interest and people is the scary on HD. HD makeup artists, they're going places!

2. I'll have to take your word on that
I couldn't find my remote control today and almost lost my mind. OK, so maybe when I got to the point of accusing the cat of intentionally hiding it on my I had lost my mind.

I mostly gave up on TV ages ago. It wasn't bad at all.

I still have to keep up on Lost though, ahha.

5. I went without television for some time
For a few weeks I was in intensive care and would wile away the hours with my portable radio, iPod and jotting down of my thoughts.

6. I haven't had a tv in over a decade.
The only thing I miss is sports.

7. OMG! How can you tell your doctor what meds to prescribe?
That long without a TV means you could be undermedicated. :wow:

10. This is true
On the rare occasion I do get to watch tv, it seems that every other ad is for some kind of drug.
