Even though he cried and stamped his feet about this...

Even though he was given the lead because no one wanted it and he was out sick that day so he was given the part in absentia...

Even though it's very hard to find overalls to fit a boy of 9 when overalls aren't in style (thank you Salvation Army)...

Even though, to be honest, school concerts tend to drag on and this was the last part so we had to sit through a lot of shuffling and "stuff" to get to it...

Even though...

He was amazing. He told me he was going to stink...and he was stunning-remembering every line.

The name of the play/musical was EIEI--Oops! About Old Macdonald not being able to get his cow to moo... It was very good. I give it two thumbs up, but I'm biased.

3. Thank you SPK... The amazing thing is, is that he is very...extremely...

shy when it comes to being in front of people (except for sports). This was tough for him. All week I kept telling him it would all be over by Friday morning. I didn't invite anyone because I didn't want him to feel bad if it didn't go well and then he just wowed the crowd. My little goofball.
