I have a lot of fun because I am willing to ride the bus
My Uncle has a shop about three miles from here and I am his IT guy for his network. They call me in 2-3 times a month.

Anyway, I got called in today and hopped the bus. The shop is a pretty good walk from the bus stop. When I come walking down the road everyone at the shop flips out. They all drive and just can't imagine taking a bus.

Yeah, I am a freak, I actually like riding the bus...

1. I hate the bus and I'm thisclose to splurging on downtown parking
I just hate the lack of control of being able to come and go as I please - but I'm trying here!

5. It's good exercise
I throw on my Ipod and go. It's also a lot of fun to people watch,of course, if you do it every day I can see where people watching would become dull.

3. I have a little truck but I ride the bus.
There is a bus route in the neighborhood and another route close by.

I can't ride the bus right now due to my knee but I will back as soon possible.

Good for you for riding the bus.

4. I love riding the bus.
I WISH I could take the bus! It pains me that it would take me 1.5 hours per trip to take the bus to work each day, when it takes me only 15 minutes (or less) by car. I'm hoping that Capmetro will address their route issues - it shouldn't be so hard for me to take a bus from my neighborhood.

8. I live in a jumping area because of it's proximity to downtown.
Fifteen minutes... From DT you can take a shuttle or light rail.

9. You got that CapMetro right,
The bus used to come down our street-the stop was right across from our house. Then they changed the route and the nearest stop is almost 3/4 mile away. While I can walk that far my diabetes complications tell me about it seriously.

11. I love riding the bus, too.
I have my own vehicle but costs are prohibitive. The Metro is more convenient but I prefer the bus, even if it adds 15-20 minutes to my trip.

Besides, if the Metro experiences a shutdown, at least I know how to get home without having to look it up.
