as much as I love Rickman's voice, I can't say much about his singing voice.

He's still a great actor though. Truly horrible in that movie. :P

It seems I am in the minority, finding it a shit movie. I thought every aspect of it was truly terrible, from the acting, the Gothic feel, the music, the horrible CG blood, and the Depp-mania. It felt like Harry Potter meets Pirates of the Caribbean in A Nightmare Before Christmas. And it just was not a worthwhile movie - for $7.50 for a ticket or 700 megabytes.
