24. It's not targeted to the kids

It's targeted to the parents of teens who are old enough to know who Meatloaf is. (But then again, I'm 31, and I love his music.) The parents are the ones actually paying for the phones. The commercial says "this is a cost effective way of getting your kid to stop griping."

Sure it was campy but give the woman some credit. No "I'm a catholic school girl who dances like a stripper" act. Hell she never even came close to the teen star meltdown shit we've seen recently. Same with Debbie Gibson who has done tons of Broadway work.

I love that commercial, because when I see it I get to sing along.

One of the greatest songs of all time. Some music is way too serious. If you don't have a silly grin after listening to Paradise, you need a nap.

I hadn't seen the extended version before, how fun. The only commercial that even comes close is the silly Snickers FEAST ads. They crack me up.
