I think I made a mistake

I have to go to some thing at 10 am on Thursday, which should be fine, except that I'm a total insomniac, and usually don't go to bed until 5 or 6 am. So, I thought in all my glorious wisdom, "I'll just have a few drinks and go to bed early". Well, now it's almost 7am and I'm plowed. Now, do I just stay up and finish this bottle of wine, or do I still try to go to bed and wake up tomorrow at 10 am so that waking up at 9 on thursday wouldn't be such a shock?

1. Maybe go to bed and try to sleep until 11 or noon

Then maybe go to bed at 2 am and sleep until 9.
