Do you use one? Does it help your back? What's its name?

1. My brother used one for years
Back trouble and the air bed seemed to work best for him.

I like the one we have for camping, but my 'real' bed is a floatation bed and I LOVE it. Have a BIG dog and he sorta makes the air bed poof me up when he flops down on it.

2. Sleep Number Mattresses?
Yes, they do help your back. They have dual air chambers with 16 baffles per side so they contour to your body. You control the softness, firmness and support on each side.

They have 6 different models, so each one feels different.
Check out your local select comfort store.

I have one and it is awesome.

3. I use a double size Coleman air bed on top of my futon
....and it is like floating on a cloud every night. It is SOOOOO comfortable. Never a pain in the morning; sleep like a baby. After about 6 months, with a kitty on it every night too, I have to get another one. Twenty bucks.

I highly recommend it for those who need comfort and can't afford an expensive bed.

4. Just hope it doesn't spring a leak.
Sleeping on a busted air mattress for a year has to be one of the most annoying aspects of my life to date, haha.
