Crap. I'm sick again.

I have some kind of stomach bug thing at the moment. Not fun, because I essentially can't eat anything, am missing important stuff at school, and was supposed to go out tonight but can't.

Yes, I am whining a bit.

2. There seemed to be three distinct strains of the flu going around this year.

One at the edge of fall/winter, one halfway through winter (which I missed thankfully) and one right now at the edge of winter/spring.

Thankfully the more recent one didn't have any stomach flu-ish effects on me this time. Just a really bad cold. But the first one back at the end of the fall... that one was nasty. I couldn't even hold down water for more than 30 hours.

I just e-mailed a friend who I was supposed to be seeing tonight, and I'm like "I kind of have the plague right now, but maybe I'll see you on Saturday?", and she was like "Oh man. I know a bunch of people who seem to have caught that - and I don't think you'll be better for Saturday."

Oh well. I almost never get sick - but sometimes, the germs win.

cough, sore throat, runny nose... all that jazz. i'm going to the alabama democratic party jefferson jackson dinner tonight though with a friend, so i have to tough it out. :(
