If you go for conscious sedation, don’t tell them anything! I would say, as the pain can be deep pressure pain, do go with conscious sedation. Remember, you are in charge; it is your body.

My grandfather was Hungarian. The surname is KOVACS, which is about as common as SMITH here in the US. I just thought your screen name might be your real name or maiden name.

So, you are not an Ellen after all? Darn! We Ellens are few and far between. Not too popular a first name over the past several decades. Oh, yeah... there's Ellen DeGeneres. She's a hoot! My granddaughter has a classmate named Ellen Midori XXXX (I don't want to put the last name here). Ellen is beautiful -- she is half Japanese. She was excited to tell me last year that she went to the Disneyland in Japan!
