Okay, why the fuck am I constantly sick?
For the last two months I've been sick. One cold after another. It seems I get about two days of health and then BOOM another cold. It's really starting to drag me down. Everytime I get better I say, "Great, now, next week I'll be able to kick some ass." Then, sure enough, I'm sick again. I don't fucking get it. But it's almost driving me to tears here.

1. this will sound like it doesn't make sense, but hear me out
If you're using antibacterial soap... STOP.

Your body needs to build resistance to all the mutating germs and viruses... and that won't happen if you're always using antibacterial soap.

6. Although I don't know if this the problem...
I agree with you in regard to antibacterial soap. Scrap it! We already have a defense system in place (i.e. normal flora). Antibacterials disrupt the status quo. Plus, they make everything feel dry!

11. Yep, we quit using it at our house and just wash our hands WELL
and often.

(liquid soap w/lotion works just fine)

2. Could be allergies or sinus infection
Could be Mono

All of them could cause roughly what you describe.

3. Are you sure it is an actual virus and not allergies?
Might be worth investigating.

8. My vote is for sinus infection.

Circles under your eyes?
Fatigued? Depressed? General malaise?
Lots of snot?
Sinus congestion w/out drainage? Stuffiness that doesn't clear?
Headaches?
Toothaches?
Does your head throb when you bend over?
Fever?

See a doc, please - recurring colds need an evaluation.

12. I am voting with Dora on this.
Sounds like a sinus infection that just gets more fuel (snot) for the fire every time there is an allergen about.

HeyHey, netty pots are readily available and can help rinse out the mucus. Up your intake of Vit C and Zinc. Give the house a good cleaning; maybe it is mold or something that is taking advantage of climate change.

I swear, this is not an uncommon scenario, and everyone thinks they are getting repeated colds/flu. See your doc, sounds like this is going to continue to tire you out. See your doc especially if you have a fever.

9. Get thee to a doctor to find out if there's anything else going on
that's my advice.

Also, do the basics on the homefront: get lots of sleep, pump the fluids, get some exercise if you can manage, eat well, keep a positive mental perspective....like that.

Sorry you've been sick. That sucks, esp in the spring.

10. You need more sex
Or you need to drink more water and less whiskey?

(I'd vote for the sex)
