2. Ohno!
:o

Midori! I hope you're alright. I did a similar thing once with a Corningware dish. Bled for a long time and it left a nasty scar.

5. Scarring is unfortunate.
But at least you didn't need stitches. :hi:

6. I know this sounds weird.
But I use Superglue fairly often on cuts.
That is what they used in Nam.

My ex was an ER nurse for a time. They used it there a great deal.

15. The best stuff you can get
is called "New Skin." You paint it on and it's better than super glue, and more hygienic, too.

I'm not a nurse, but when I was younger I had a problem with cutting myself. Trust me, I can treat cuts. LOL.

14. I worked in an ER for 4 and a half years...

That is where I learned it.

It is a wonderous thing for martial arts first aid kits to have.

And, if you ever had colloidian used on a cut, you really appreciate its replacement.

11. Ouch!
I am so sorry! Cutting your hand is just the worst! Not only does it bleed profusely, but it constantly starts hurting again because you can't just stop using your hand. If it looks too bad, please get it looked at. When I cut my hand, I often use liquid bandage because it kind of seals it up and stops the stinging, but yours sounds worse than that. Keep an eye on it, okay?:-(

18. Glass guts are difficult because they're so clean, like razor cuts...
They take longer to heal, as the skin is so cleanly cut, as opposed to a gouge on a metal tool, etc.

Keep 'em clean, use polysporin, and be careful!
